
The group ZEROBASEONE has achieved six consecutive million-seller albums with the release of their first full-length album, "NEVER SAY NEVER." This album sold over 1.1 million copies on the day of its release, September 1. ZEROBASEONE became the first K-pop group to have six consecutive albums reach million-seller status starting from their debut album.
According to Hanteo Chart, ZEROBASEONE is the first 5th generation K-pop group to record cumulative album sales exceeding 9 million copies. They also hold the record for the fastest K-pop group to reach 9 million sales within the past two years. Their achievements are regarded as a significant milestone in the K-pop market.
They also stood out on overseas music charts. "NEVER SAY NEVER" ranked 5th on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart, 5th on the U.S. iTunes Top K-pop Albums Chart, and 7th on the European iTunes Album Chart. Additionally, it topped the iTunes "Top Albums" charts in several countries including the Czech Republic, Qatar, Russia, and Vietnam.
Their domestic music chart performance is also noteworthy. All songs from "NEVER SAY NEVER" entered the Melon HOT100, with six tracks included in the Top 100. Notably, the title track "BLUE" from their previous mini-album "BLUE PARADISE" made a comeback, ranking 96th. The title track "ICONIK" also achieved success by entering Japan's Line Music TOP100 and China's QQ Music Top Trend Song Chart.
The music video for the title track "ICONIK" has received a hot response. It surpassed 6 million views in less than a day after its release. As a result, ZEROBASEONE ranked within the top 10 trending YouTube music videos in various regions, including 2nd worldwide, 4th in the UK and Germany, 7th in France, Canada, and Japan, 8th in Korea, and 10th in Chile, Indonesia, and Russia.
ZEROBASEONE will begin full-scale promotions with the title track "ICONIK." They will hold their first comeback stage on Mnet's "M Countdown" on September 4. This is expected to further solidify ZEROBASEONE's position in the K-pop market.
