Disney+'s original series "Polaris" has released a behind-the-scenes video. This series features actors sharing the atmosphere on set and their thoughts on the production. Jun Ji-hyun returns to drama after four years through "Polaris" and expressed gratitude for working with top-tier creators.

The plot of "Polaris" centers on Moon-joo (Jun Ji-hyun), a UN ambassador with an international reputation, as she investigates the background of an assassination attempt on a presidential candidate. Moon-joo, along with a mysterious special agent San-ho (Kang Dong-won), confronts a huge truth threatening the Korean Peninsula. In the released video, the main cast shared their impressions of their roles and the passion on set.

Jun Ji-hyun said, "I am truly honored just to have the opportunity to participate." John Cho, who plays Anderson Miller, said, "It was an unforgettable experience for a lifetime." Oh Jung-se, portraying Jang Joon-sang, said, "Working with these people was my goal," expressing his feelings about collaborating with the best creators.

Kim Hae-sook, who plays President Chae Kyung-shin of South Korea, said, "I felt like I was alive again and gained something very precious." Lee Mi-sook, as Lim Ok-sun, emphasized that "Polaris" became a milestone in her acting career and a meaningful work as an actress.

The actors introduced their characters and conveyed their efforts to immerse themselves in their roles. Jun Ji-hyun said, "Through the writer's script, I worked very hard to find the answers for my character," revealing her intention to delicately portray Moon-joo's complex inner world. Kang Dong-won explained, "San-ho is a character who helps Moon-joo when she is in danger," referring to San-ho's role in protecting Moon-joo, who is on the edge after the assassination attempt on the presidential candidate.

Lee Sang-hee, playing Yeo Mi-ji, said, "'Polaris' is a work that gives pride." Joo Jong-hyuk, who plays Park Chang-hee, shared the warm atmosphere on set, saying, "It's a real super team. We started with great energy on set."

"Polaris" will release three episodes on Disney+ on September 10, and from September 17, two additional episodes will be aired weekly. Comprising a total of nine episodes, this espionage romance series is drawing attention for the chemistry between Jun Ji-hyun and Kang Dong-won. The work is expected to leave a strong impression on viewers through the actors' passion and the complex relationships among various characters.
