
Stray Kids is dominating the latest Billboard charts. According to the Billboard chart dated September 6, Stray Kids appeared in a total of 16 categories with their fourth full-length album "KARMA," released on August 22, and its title track "CEREMONY." They are the only K-pop artist to have reached number one this year, achieving seven consecutive number-one spots on the Billboard 200.
Stray Kids recorded first-week sales of 313,000 copies in the U.S., securing their seventh number-one on the main album chart, the Billboard 200. This is the first time in the history of the Billboard 200, which began in March 1956, that seven consecutive works have debuted at number one, marking a significant achievement for Stray Kids.
Additionally, "CEREMONY" entered the Hot 100 chart at number 52, marking their fourth overall entry. They also topped the Artist 100 chart, simultaneously dominating both the Billboard 200 and Artist 100 for the sixth time with "ODDINARY," "MAXIDENT," "★★★★★ (5-STAR)," "ATE," and "SKZHOP HIPTAPE."
Stray Kids also claimed number one on the Top Album Sales, Top Current Album Sales, World Albums, World Digital Song Sales, and Dance Digital Song Sales charts. On the Billboard Global (excluding U.S.) chart, they ranked eighth, and on the Billboard Global 200, they placed tenth. They were the first K-pop group to appear on the Top Streaming Albums chart, launched in October 2023.
Their agency, JYP Entertainment, stated, "The glorious record gifted by STAY (the fandom name) will be remembered for a very long time." They added, "STAY always makes us shine brighter. We will continue to take on challenges and repay with music and performances."
Stray Kids also stood out on the Billboard Boxscore Top Tours chart with their world tour "〈 dominATE 〉," which concluded in Rome last July. They held 10 stadium shows across eight North American locations, ranking seventh on the June chart behind Beyoncé, The Weeknd, Metallica, and others. In the July chart, they held stadium shows in six European locations, achieving the highest K-pop ranking at fifth place.
Stray Kids' achievements contribute to elevating the status of K-pop, and their musical influence continues to expand.
