Launch of the global K-Trot magazine 'Trotzin', the world stage started with Jang Minho

Korean trot music is spreading beyond South Korea to the world. The global K-trot specialized magazine "TROTZINE" has launched its inaugural issue, establishing itself as a new hub that meets the needs of global fans.

Trot star Jang Minho was selected as the cover artist for the inaugural issue. Building on his solid reputation in Korea, Jang Minho showcases new charms to overseas fans through "TROTZINE." He captures not only his charismatic stage presence but also his human side, demonstrating that fandom can extend beyond simple music consumption to narrative empathy.

Following the recent K-pop craze, "K-trot" is gaining attention as a new wave of Korean content overseas in countries such as the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Japan. The activities of domestic artists, including Jang Minho, are moving global fandoms and proving trot's potential for worldwide expansion.

Maggie Kang, director of the Netflix animated film "K-Pop Demon Hunters," recently stated at a press conference in Korea that if she makes a sequel, she would like to showcase trot among various Korean music styles. This suggests trot's potential to establish itself as global content.

"TROTZINE" is easily available for purchase not only at major bookstores and online malls in Korea but also through global online platforms such as Naver, Coupang, and Q10 Japan. Additionally, based on global logistics partnerships, the overseas delivery system has been strengthened to support local fans in receiving the magazine conveniently.

The inaugural issue will be available for pre-order from August 28 to September 18, followed by official sales. Buyers will receive a special package including a separate booklet, bromides, star postcards, and photo cards. Additionally, a Polaroid signed by Jang Minho will be given through a lottery. This event offers special benefits for the global fandom, increasing the collectible value of the inaugural issue.

The global expansion of trot goes beyond simply broadening a music genre; it acts as an important element of cultural exchange. Trot reinterprets traditional Korean music in a modern way, reborn with a new sensibility, enhancing its competitiveness in the global market.

Reflecting this trend, TROTZINE plans to deliver the charm of K-trot in various ways. The magazine provides diverse content to readers, including artist interviews, performance reviews, and fan communication sections.

Trot is no longer just a music genre but has become an important icon of Korean culture. Global fans experience the harmony of Korea's tradition and modernity through trot, which further highlights the diversity of Korean culture.

Jang Minho said, "I want to communicate with more overseas fans through TROTZINE," and "I hope trot will be loved by more people." His remarks clearly show his commitment to the globalization of trot.

TROTZINE will continue to carry out various projects and events to promote the worldwide spread of K-trot. This is expected to contribute not only to music consumption but also to increasing understanding and interest in Korean culture.

The global spread of trot is not just a trend but an important movement connected to the sustainable development of Korean culture. K-trot will continue to communicate with fans worldwide through various platforms and expand its influence even further.
