"Demon Slayer" was released on the 22nd of last month. This work is an animation covering the first chapter of the final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the elite demons in the demon stronghold, Mugen Train. Surpassing 3.15 million cumulative viewers within 10 days of release, this film ranked fifth in the overall box office among movies released in 2025, following "Zombie Daughter," "F1 The Movie," "Mission: Impossible – Final Reckoning," and "Opposition." Additionally, it surpassed "Howl's Moving Castle" to become the fourth highest-grossing Japanese animation film released domestically.

Meanwhile, the horror film "The Conjuring: The Last Rite" ranked second at the box office on its opening day. The film attracted 39,585 viewers, reaching a cumulative audience of 39,930. "The Conjuring: The Last Rite" tells the story of the Warren couple confronting an evil entity in Pennsylvania in 1986.
With the release of "The Conjuring: The Last Rite," the previous second and third place films, "F1 The Movie" and "Zombie Daughter," each dropped one rank to third and fourth place, respectively. "F1 The Movie" was viewed by 14,607 people, reaching a cumulative total of 4,813,455 viewers, while "Zombie Daughter" attracted 14,622 viewers, reaching a cumulative total of 5,398,887.
The second highest reservation rate and the number one reservation rate among Korean films is held by director Park Chan-wook's new work "No Choice," set to be released on the 24th. This film is drawing audience expectations and has recorded high reservation rates even before its release.
