[The Fact | Reporter Jeong Byeong-geun] HYBE Global group &TEAM will make their official debut in Korea next month.
According to their agency YX Labels on the 4th, &TEAM announced at their 3rd anniversary event held in Tokyo, Japan on the 3rd, "We will be releasing our first Korean mini-album 'Back to Life' on October 28th."
While &TEAM has made special appearances on Korean music shows performing Korean versions of their original Japanese songs, this marks their first official Korean album release. This Korean debut comes at a significant time, following their recent million-seller debut in Japan.
&TEAM stated, "Thanks to the support and love of our fans, LUNÉ (fandom name), we've been able to come this far. We hope that our Korean debut will allow us to share Antim's charms with a wider world and further afield. We want to walk this path with LUNÉ. We're working hard to show you a wonderful side of ourselves, so please continue to support us."
YX Labels stated, "'Back to Life' captures the three-year journey of the nine members and their new leap forward. We hope you look forward to Antim's unique musical style and growth story, expanded upon by HYBE's 'global DNA.'"
&TEAM proved their presence in the Japanese music market with their third Japanese single, "Go in Blind," released in April, surpassing one million cumulative copies shipped and earning the first "Million" certification (as of July) from the Recording Industry Association of Japan. Their first Asian tour, which began in May and lasted for two months, drew approximately 100,000 fans, demonstrating their status as a "global group."
Their recent solo concert at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul sold out immediately after ticket sales opened, and even the additional limited-view seats were sold out. The Asia tour will conclude with an encore performance at Saitama Super Arena in Japan on October 25-26.
