Jun. K returns after 4 years and 9 months with his fourth mini album

Singer Jun. K has released his fourth mini-album, "Dear my muse." Through this album, he expressed gratitude for being able to make music and perform, and he worked on it with the hope that it would be a gift to listeners.

Jun. K released a physical album for the first time in four years and nine months, and last year, he released the digital single "Paint this love." Additionally, from January to March, he held a solo tour in Nagoya, Osaka, and Yokohama, Japan, continuing his active music activities.

He recently gave an interview at a café in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, where he explained the title track "R&B ME." Jun. K said, "The title track is easy listening, a song that fans and the public can listen to comfortably and pleasantly." The album includes a total of five songs: "R&B ME," "PRIVACY," "ALL ON YOU," "LARGO," and "HAPPY ENDING."

"R&B ME" is a song that adds Jun. K's unique interpretation to the R&B genre. The track features Changbin, a junior artist from the same agency and a member of Stray Kids. Jun. K explained why he asked Changbin to write the rap, saying, "I thought of Changbin's voice and asked if he could do it, and he gladly agreed." He also added, "I hoped that Stray Kids fans would listen to at least Changbin's part, if not my song."

Jun. K is well aware of fans' anticipation for 2PM's full-group activities and proudly spoke of his close friendship with the members. He said, "I think 2PM needs to do something soon. Nothing is decided yet, but we are continuously discussing it." Reflecting on Super Junior's recent 20th anniversary, he mentioned, "I was very envious and thought we should do even more," and stated that since 2PM is also approaching its 20th anniversary, they will have serious discussions soon.

Jun. K is now in his 17th year since debut and is approaching his 10th year as a solo artist. He mentioned the growth of K-pop culture, saying, "Starting with second-generation idols like us, K-pop as a culture has grown tremendously." He expressed joy in seeing juniors happy through collaborations with artists he dreamed of as a child, such as Usher and Justin Timberlake.

Regarding his future, he said, "The future depends on what I do, but my dream is to think positively and continue steadily from where I am." Jun. K emphasized that he hopes this album will be one he won't be ashamed of, even if he finds some regrets when listening to it ten years from now.

The album "Dear my muse" reflects Jun. K's musical growth and affection for his fans, conveying his sincere feelings. Jun. K plans to continue communicating with fans through ongoing music activities.
