Travel YouTuber and broadcaster KwakTube (real name Kwak Jun-bin, 33) will marry a non-celebrity girlfriend this coming October. On the 8th, KwakTube announced the wedding news in a video titled "Announcing a New Beginning in Life" on his YouTube channel.

In the video, KwakTube said, "A lot has happened during my five years on YouTube. I have checked off many items on my bucket list." He added, "During that time, I met my girlfriend. I met her before I became famous. We dated, then broke up because we got busy, but later reunited. We became a greater source of comfort to each other." He described his girlfriend as "much younger but someone who boosts my self-esteem. She is a friend who takes care of me, even though I am insignificant."

KwakTube mentioned his goal regarding marriage, saying, "My goal was to get married quickly. I wanted to reveal it once I found someone to marry. I definitely wanted to tell you all." He also spoke about the wedding schedule: "I already booked the venue. We were preparing for May next year, but recently I found out that while preparing the wedding well, a greater blessing came, and I became a father. There are now three of us. So, we decided to move the wedding up. We are getting married right away in October."

He shared that he had wanted to start a family since he was young. He said, "I had a strong longing for my father. I wanted to be a good parent like my parents. I thought I wanted to be a good father and a good husband, and I thought I could marry this friend." He expressed his sincere feelings about marriage and added, "I will show you a mature and hardworking happy side of myself."

Last month on the 13th, KwakTube had already hinted at his relationship and upcoming marriage in a video on his channel. When asked if he had a girlfriend, he replied, "I do have a girlfriend," and said, "I am also thinking about marriage." He explained that his girlfriend is "a non-celebrity."

Regarding their dates, he said, "We mostly hang out at home. We also go to many good restaurants." Their meeting was arranged through an acquaintance, and he showed affection by saying that his girlfriend "understands well" his schedule, which often involves traveling far for work.

KwakTube is a major YouTuber with 2.1 million subscribers known for his overseas travel content. He has also appeared on TV programs such as EBS's "Kwak Jun-bin's World Food Truck" and "Choo Sung-hoon's You Have to Pay for Your Meal." Along with his marriage announcement, KwakTube emphasized his personal changes and growth and shared his aspirations for the future.
