Chaeyoung, a member of the girl group TWICE, will release her first full-length album, "LIL FANTASY vol.1," on September 12. This is Chaeyoung's first solo album and her first personal work since debuting with TWICE in 2015. Following fellow TWICE members Nayeon, Jihyo, and Tzuyu as the fourth solo artist, Chaeyoung plans to showcase her unique musical style through this album.

The album "LIL FANTASY vol.1" consists of a total of 10 tracks, with the title track "SHOOT" carrying the subtitle "Firecracker." Chaeyoung participated directly in the lyrics, composition, and arrangement of the title track. Her agency, JYP Entertainment, stated that the song "embodies Chaeyoung's confidence and aspirations for her solo career." The track is expected to attract attention with its performance that blends kitschy melodies with jazz and disco vibes.

In addition to the title track, the album includes songs such as "AVOCADO," "BAND-AID," "GIRL," "RIBBONS," "DOWNPOUR," "BF," "Shadow Play," "My Guitar," and "Lonely doll waltz." Chaeyoung described the album as "feeling like opening a treasure box that I have been collecting piece by piece," and expressed her desire to reveal her sincere inner self through the tastes, thoughts, and attitudes contained in the album.

Through this album, Chaeyoung emphasized the distinction between "TWICE's Chaeyoung" and "solo artist Chaeyoung." It was a project to fully express herself as an individual rather than as part of a team, and having prepared for a long time, she hopes to receive love from fans. The album's visual creative concept began with Chaeyoung's drawings and includes meticulous details.

Regarding the selection of the title track "SHOOT," Chaeyoung explained, "It is a song you can dance to, and it carries the message of enjoying a party." She also added that the collaboration with the Japanese pop band Glico was carried out in a natural and comfortable atmosphere, which enhanced her satisfaction with the album.

Chaeyoung expressed her gratitude to fans worldwide through this album, saying, "I hope you create your own dreamlike fantasy world." The album's digital tracks will be released on various online music platforms starting at 1 PM on the 12th.
