The group ATEEZ has completed preparations for their comeback in the Japanese market. Their agency, KQ Entertainment, released a teaser for the music video of the title track "Ash" from ATEEZ's second full-length Japanese album "Ashes to Light" on September 15. The released video begins with Yunho breathing heavily in the darkness, capturing viewers' attention.

The video sequentially shows the members wandering in search of "new hope from hardship." The members approach Yunho, who is lying on the sand, surrounding him, and it ends with Yunho escaping from a fallen car along with the lyrics "I'm dancing in the Ash." This teaser video creates a mysterious and dreamy atmosphere, harmonizing ATEEZ's visuals with stylish direction.

"Ashes to Light" is ATEEZ's first Japanese full-length album in about four years and six months since their 2021 release of their first full album "Into the A to Z." This album includes five new songs: the title track "Ash," "12 Midnight," "Tippy Toes," "FACE," and "Crescendo." Additionally, four previously released songs—"NOT OKAY," "Days," "Birthday," and "Forevermore"—are included, making a total of nine tracks.

A preview video released earlier revealed snippets of all the songs from "Ashes to Light." These tracks, featuring ATEEZ's unique vocal tones and singing abilities, received explosive reactions from global fans. ATEEZ began their 2025 Japan tour "IN YOUR FANTASY" on September 13 and completed their performance in Saitama on the same day.

ATEEZ plans to hold a comeback showcase on the release day of "Ashes to Light," September 17, to meet local fans. They will continue their performances in Nagoya on September 20 and 21, and in Kobe on October 22 and 23. ATEEZ's second full-length Japanese album "Ashes to Light" will be released on September 17.
