On the September 19th broadcast of KBS 2TV's "New Product Launch Pyeonstorang," Kim Jaejoong's family story will be revealed. This episode is a special "Mom's Hands" edition in celebration of the national holiday Chuseok. Kim Jaejoong will present a special dish filled with family memories together with his mother.

Kim Jaejoong visited his family home to check on his mother's health. His mother shared that she had undergone pelvic and knee surgeries several years ago, and recently her ankle has also worsened, causing much concern. Kim Jaejoong's father, looking at his wife, said, "When we got married, I promised I wouldn't let a drop of water touch your hands, but I am a sinner to my wife. I have nothing to say," expressing his remorse.

Kim Jaejoong's mother said, "I have never told this story in my life..." and revealed past family stories that Kim Jaejoong did not remember. Kim Jaejoong's father was once a wealthy heir from a privileged background, but following suggestions from people around him, he invested a large sum of money in another business and went bankrupt, leaving the family with a debt of 100 million won overnight. Kim Jaejoong's father said, "I was so shocked by that incident that I couldn't even recognize the people around me. Everyone said I was 'crazy.'"

Kim Jaejoong's mother explained that his father went through many hardships and added, "He faced many life-or-death moments." She described how his father developed a mental illness and showed various abnormal behaviors while trying to avoid it. Eventually, Kim Jaejoong's mother took responsibility for the family's livelihood, supporting nine siblings by doing various jobs, from street vending to working in restaurants. She revealed that she single-handedly paid off the entire 100 million won debt.

Hearing his parents' turbulent story for the first time in his life, Kim Jaejoong could not hide his surprise.
