According to Pledis Entertainment on the 22nd, S.Coups X Mingyu held a pre-listening party for their first mini album "HYPE VIBES" on the 21st in Hannam-dong, Seoul, where they premiered all the tracks from the new album for the first time. The event was organized to celebrate the release of the new album and to enjoy "this moment" together.

About 100 people attended the party, including singer and producer BUMZU, fellow artists who participated in the mini album, and acquaintances from the entertainment industry, creating a private atmosphere. Members of Seventeen also visited the venue to offer congratulations and support. The party atmosphere, elevated by BUMZU's DJing, grew even more intense with the appearance of S.Coups and Mingyu.

S.Coups and Mingyu shared their thoughts, saying, "Since this is our first listening party, we are excited and nervous. We hope everyone gathered here becomes friends. When the songs play, we hope everyone enjoys them enthusiastically." They premiered all the tracks from "HYPE VIBES," starting with the title track "5, 4, 3 (Pretty Woman) (feat. Lay Bankz)."

"HYPE VIBES" is an album that expresses various "moments right now" in daily life through music. The title track interpolates Roy Orbison's timeless love song "Oh, Pretty Woman" and rebirths it with S.Coups X Mingyu's unique style. The two directly participated in writing and composing all the songs, infusing their own tastes and emotions.

S.Coups X Mingyu will release the new album and begin promotions at 6 p.m. on the 29th. On the 20th, Mingyu made a surprise guest appearance on S.Coups's original content "Cook S.Coups" on Seventeen's YouTube channel. On the 30th, a pop-up event celebrating the release of their first mini album will be held in Yongsan, Seoul.
