Fifth Song to Reach 500 Million Streams on Spotify

Global music platform Spotify announced on the 17th that the debut song "Attention" by NewJeans (Minzy, Hani, Daniel, Haerin, Hyein) has been streamed 576,255 times as of the 15th.

This marks the fifth time that a NewJeans song has surpassed 500 million streams on Spotify, following "OMG" (800 million), "Ditto" (800 million), "Super Shy" (700 million), and "Hype Boy" (600 million).

"Attention," released by New Jeans in August 2022, combines a sensual and rhythmic introduction with a sophisticated beat and the members' refreshing vocals.

Upon its release, the song took the charts both domestically and internationally by storm, marking the beginning of the "New Jeans Syndrome." The energetic yet cool performance also garnered immense love from fans worldwide.

Currently, New Jeans boasts 15 songs with over 100 million streams on Spotify: "New Jeans" has over 400 million streams, "ETA" over 300 million, "Cookie," "Hurt," "Cool With You," and "How Sweet" over 200 million, and "ASAP," "Get Up," "Supernatural," and "Bubble Gum" over 100 million each.

The combined Spotify streams of all songs released by New Jeans to date have exceeded 6.7 billion.
