'Raon' conducted its 51st meal service volunteer work and donation at Yangpyeong Rodem House. The Im Young-woong fan club 'Hero Era Volunteer Sharing Room Raon' (hereinafter Raon) announced that it carried out its 51st meal service volunteer work at the residential facility for children with severe disabilities, Yangpyeong Rodem House, and donated 2.41 million won.
Raon supports meal expenses and supplies to Rodem House every month and also conducts kitchen meal service volunteering by preparing and providing food directly. The day before the volunteer work, they purchase the necessary food and snacks themselves, and on the day of the volunteer work, they load the ingredients early in the morning and travel to Yangpyeong to carry out the meal distribution service.
On the day of the volunteer work, a small concert was held at Rodem House, and a special menu was prepared. The provided food included charcoal-grilled marinated pork ribs, beef cabbage soybean paste soup, japchae, shrimp vegetable pancakes, ham pancakes, fruit salad, sweet potato and lotus root sweet stew, and commemorative rice cakes. In addition, snacks such as candy, cookies, milk, juice, and fruits including bananas, flat peaches, Shine Muscat grapes, and oranges were delivered. Furthermore, 12 kg of Korean beef brisket was also donated.
The total sponsorship amount for this volunteer activity was 2.41 million won. Raon departed from Seoul at dawn and arrived in Yangpyeong in response to a request to move up the meal time at the festival venue. Members carefully prepared and served a variety of foods in a short time. They said they felt rewarded watching the residents happily move to the event venue after the meal.
Raon stated, "As fans of Im Young-woong who practice the value of togetherness, we are continuously striving to deliver warm care to marginalized neighbors."
Meanwhile, Raon continues monthly volunteer activities and support through various organizations including Rodem House, jjokbangchon (small room villages), Yongsan box villages, Seoul Child Welfare Association, 'People Selling Hope,' and 'Seoul National University Children's Hospital.' The accumulated sponsorship amount over the past 52 months has reached 183.13 million won.
Raon's activities have a positive impact on the local community, and the fan club's ongoing participation provides practical help to marginalized neighbors. The fan club plans to expand volunteer activities in various ways in the future.
