A new rookie boy group for 2025 Planet is born. Mnet's "Boys 2 Planet" has built a new "Planet universe" with 160 contestants competing since its first broadcast on July 17. On the 25th, the final debut team will be confirmed through votes from global star creators. The participants reviewed their records and achievements over the past 70 days.

"Boys 2 Planet" has attracted the attention of star creators worldwide since its first broadcast. In particular, the viewership rating among women aged 10 to 29 reached a peak of 2.4%, ranking first in the same time slot across all channels, including terrestrial broadcasters. The buzz around "Boys 2 Planet" further spread through real-time communication with global fans. Votes from fans in 222 countries and regions worldwide demonstrated the program's intense interest. According to FUNdex by Good Data Corporation, it ranked first for nine consecutive weeks in the TV-OTT non-drama category, establishing itself as the most popular program. Major Chinese media and Japanese outlets such as Oricon and Natalie also gave focused coverage, showing high interest.

The influence of "Boys 2 Planet" was evident on social media as well. The official SNS channels surpassed 2.2 million followers, with high interest in the participants even before the broadcast began. On X (formerly Twitter), it ranked high on worldwide trend charts in 10 countries including Korea, Japan, the Philippines, and the United States. It also topped real-time search terms on China's Weibo and Bilibili.

The trend of success continues to rise. The performance video of the first signal song "OLLA" has nearly reached 7.5 million cumulative views, and the team video for the first competition song "Whiplash" surpassed 5.8 million views. Participants' fancam videos also attracted attention with over 1 million views shortly after release. The behind-the-scenes series capturing the practice process at Planet Camp and the chemistry among participants further increased global fandom engagement. The total cumulative views across digital platforms including YouTube and TikTok approached 900 million.
