On October 22nd at 10 PM, their agency KOZ Entertainment uploaded a new video to the HYBE Labels YouTube channel, announcing the release of Boy Next Door's 5th mini album, "The Action," on October 20th. This marks the group's first new album in approximately five months, following their fourth mini album, "No Genre," released in May.

The video released today captures BoyNextDoor's transformation into a film production crew, "TEAM THE ACTION," captivating viewers. While searching for a suitable location to film, the six members throw a dart and set their sights on Chicago. Upon learning of a film festival taking place there, they nurture their dreams of becoming film directors.

Then, the screen displays the phrase "Take no. 6 Ready Camera Action!" along with the new album title "The Action" and the release date of October 20th at 6 PM, captivating viewers.

Boynextdoor also draws attention by wearing a hoodie emblazoned with "TEAM THE ACTION," the same one they wore when they departed for "Lolapalooza Chicago" last August. The interplay of the members' real-life activities and the film crew setting in the video creates a refreshingly entertaining atmosphere, piqueing curiosity about what kind of promotional campaigns they will pursue based on this theme in the future.

Boynextdoor previously achieved two consecutive million-seller milestones with "No Genre" and achieved the feat of entering Billboard's main album chart, the Billboard 200, for the fourth consecutive time. They also successfully concluded their first solo tour, "BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR 'KNOCK ON Vol. 1'," in July and "Lollapalooza Chicago" in August, bolstering their global presence.
