Singer Youngtak has joined KBS2's new variety show "Dogs Are Incredible." The press conference held on the 2nd was attended by Lee Kyung-kyu, Youngtak, veterinarian Kim Hyun-joo, trainer Lee Woong-jong, Kwon Hyuk-pil, Yang Eun-joo, and Choi Min-hyuk. Since its first broadcast in November 2019, "Dogs Are Incredible" has contributed to improving pet culture by providing solutions to troubled dogs with trainer Kang Hyung-wook and Lee Kyung-kyu.

The program has established itself as a representative pet show by winning several awards at the KBS Entertainment Awards. In 2020, it won the Hot Issue Variety Program Award, and in 2021, it received the Producer's Special Award and Best Entertainer Award. In 2022, it proved its popularity by winning the Entertainer of the Year Award and the Popularity Award.

KBS is presenting an upgraded version of "Dogs Are Incredible" to match the era of 15 million pet owners. This season, a Troubled Dog Academy will be opened, and various one-on-one customized training sessions will be conducted with the trainers. Principal Lee Kyung-kyu, Vice Principal Youngtak, Health Teacher Kim Hyun-joo, Homeroom Teachers Lee Woong-jong, Kwon Hyuk-pil, Yang Eun-su, and Choi Min-hyuk will participate in the program.

Youngtak will take on the role of Vice Principal and is expected to showcase lively wit within the program. He emphasized his role in easing the tension between owners and troubled dogs with cheerful energy and learning together with the viewers. Youngtak said, "I am grateful and happy to be able to join as an MC on a program I love so much." He explained that his ability to do impressions and his memories with dogs brought him the opportunity to be an MC.

Youngtak expressed his aspirations for the Vice Principal role, saying, "If I have time to spend with the dogs, I want to learn the training from the teachers." He added, "I will ask questions on behalf of the viewers and act as a heater next to the principal."

In particular, Youngtak revealed the "Dogs Are Incredible" school anthem that he composed himself. Upon hearing it, Lee Kyung-kyu said, "I'm excited. My heart is pounding, and I can't believe how overwhelming this is. Just having a school anthem is happiness itself."

KBS2's "Dogs Are Incredible" will premiere on the 9th at 8:30 PM. This season will focus on raising awareness of the importance of pet education with a new format. The changes in the program are expected to contribute to enhancing communication between pets and their owners and fostering the maturity of pet culture.
