Jung Joon-ho's Large-Scale Wedding with 2,500 Guests 'In the Spotlight'

Actor Jung Joon-ho reveals behind-the-scenes stories of his wedding. In episode 19 of Channel S's variety show "Ni Don Nae San Dokbak Tour 4," airing on October 4th, Jung Joon-ho goes on a "Friend's Hometown Tour" with Kim Dae-hee, Kim Joon-ho, Jang Dong-min, Yoo Se-yoon, and Hong In-kyu.

In this episode, the "Dokbakz" meet Jung Joon-ho at the "5-day Market" in Yesan, Chungnam. Kim Dae-hee, who became close to Jung Joon-ho after working together on a project, recommends Yesan's representative dish, "Yesan Noodles." Then, Hong In-kyu, entering Jung Joon-ho's regular noodle shop, discovers a photo of Jung Joon-ho hanging on the wall and expresses surprise. Jung Joon-ho explains, "It was taken when I came here after marrying my wife," reminiscing about the memories from that time.

Jang Dong-min asks about the wedding, "Did many people from Yesan come?" Jung Joon-ho surprises the "Dokbakz" by confessing, "I got married twice." He explains, "I'll only reveal this here," saying he held one wedding in Seoul and another in Yesan. He adds, "More than 2,500 people said they would come to the wedding in Yesan, so I had one there and another in Seoul."

Jung Joon-ho boasts of his global connections by mentioning that a Dubai prince attended his wedding. The "Dokbakz" are curious about the congratulatory money from the Dubai prince, and Jung Joon-ho reveals a specific amount, saying, "I was expecting the price of an apartment..." This statement surprises those present. When Kim Joon-ho asks, "Please connect us when we travel to Dubai," Jung Joon-ho confirms, "You're going alone?" and jokes, "It would be difficult if I don't go with you. He (the Dubai prince) is very shy..." causing laughter.

Later, Jung Joon-ho orders "Yesan Noodles" and makgeolli and proposes a toast. He shares, "I have a toast I made over my 57 years of life," and tells a story related to the toast. Jang Dong-min sarcastically remarks, "A weak guy can't even drink makgeolli," making Jung Joon-ho dizzy.

Jung Joon-ho is known for his extensive connections in the entertainment industry. His wife, Lee Ha-jung, revealed on a past broadcast, "My husband's phone has 15,000 contacts. At our wedding in 2011, there were 5,000 guests. The meal cost was 400 million won," surprising many. Thanks to these connections, Jung Joon-ho is said to have received several political nomination offers. He mentioned on a past show, "I received nomination offers a few times in my hometown. While serving as a promotional ambassador, I listen to residents' stories. I deliver public opinion comfortably, just without wearing a lawmaker's badge."

The behind-the-scenes stories of Jung Joon-ho's wedding and his connections can be seen in episode 19 of Channel S's "Ni Don Nae San Dokbak Tour 4," airing at 9 PM on October 4th.
