Lee Jun-young showcases a surprising charm at the '80s MBC Seoul Music Festival.' On the April 4th broadcast of MBC's 'Hangout with Yoo,' performances by Choi Yu-ri, Lee Yong-jin & Lala, Choi Jung-hoon (Jannabi), Park Myung-soo, DinDin, Lee Jun-young, Song Eun-i & Kim Sook, Lee Juck, and others will be featured. The released photos hint at a more powerful and diverse second part of the stage, drawing attention.
The second part is filled with emotional ballads, exciting dance songs, harmonious duets, and classic hits that inspire group singing. In the preview for the second part revealed at the end of the first part, Yoo Jae-suk raised expectations by saying, "There will be standing applause." Lee Juck, Choi Jung-hoon, and Choi Yu-ri are set to fill the stage with their delightful voices.
Lee Juck, a grand prize nominee, has not yet revealed which song he will perform. He surprised everyone by sharing the behind-the-scenes story of dramatically changing his song selection just one day before the finals. Choi Jung-hoon recreates the romance of the 1980s with a unique performance of "The Way You Smiled and Sent Me Off (Lee Eun-ha)" alongside his band. Choi Yu-ri prepares an emotional stage with "I Will Give You the Love Left in Me (Jang Hye-ri)."
Actor Lee Jun-young, formerly of the group U-KISS, participates with the only dance song in the festival, displaying a surprising charm. Lee Jun-young, who prepared the strongly recommended song "Missing You (Park Nam-jung)" by PD Yoo Jae-suk and writer Haha, delivers a live performance combining dance and singing, reminiscent of the 1980s dance machine Park Nam-jung. Joo Woo-jae reacted to Lee Jun-young's completely different side behind the stage, saying, "Don't ever say he's shy anywhere."
The duet competition is also exciting. The mixed-gender duo Lee Yong-jin & Lala perform "Now (Seoul Family)" and revealed, "We practiced the hardest in our lives." Yoo Jae-suk raised anticipation for the lively stage by saying, "Even Kim Hee-ae danced." The female duo Song Eun-i & Kim Sook moved the audience by perfectly recreating the costumes, hair, and entrance of Ttulami (Go Eun-hee & Lee Jeong-ran).
Park Myung-soo and DinDin took separate vocal lessons for the festival, and their passion captivates the ears. The second part of the '80s MBC Seoul Music Festival' can be seen on April 4th at 6:25 PM on MBC's 'Hangout with Yoo.'
