Day6 Dowoon shows respect by visiting Nobrain Lee Sungwoo's newlywed home

DAY6's drummer Dowoon visited the newlywed home of No Brain's vocalist Lee Sung-woo. On the October 3rd broadcast of MBC's "I Live Alone," Dowoon's "Sea Man" daily life was revealed. After catching webfoot octopuses for eight hours at sea, Dowoon headed to Lee Sung-woo's soon-to-be newlywed home. Dowoon introduced Lee Sung-woo as "the senior I respect the most," saying, "He is the hyung and senior who took care of me before I became famous."

Lee Sung-woo is preparing to get married this October, and curiosity about his soon-to-be newlywed home is growing. When Dowoon met Lee Sung-woo, he warmly greeted him holding his dog, Dubu. Seeing the bag of webfoot octopuses Dowoon brought, Lee Sung-woo could not hide his surprise. The two exchanged jokes in dialect, creating a cheerful atmosphere. During the broadcast, Dowoon kneeled while receiving a wedding invitation from Lee Sung-woo and said, "I will keep this as a family heirloom! Hyungnim!" which brought laughter.

Additionally, Dowoon transformed into a charming figure full of aegyo in "Sea Man," showing a surprising side. The singing skills of Dubu, the dog who became a hot topic as a singing dog on "I Live Alone," were also revealed. Dowoon admired Dubu's talent and applauded, causing laughter.

Meanwhile, DAY6 member Young K has embarked on a new musical challenge. On October 2nd, he announced through DAY6's official channel that "Project PRANK" will begin on the 14th. The released poster features a person wearing a donkey mask along with images of a chicken, cat, and dog flying in the sky. "Project PRANK" is a new project Young K is conducting through his personal YouTube channel "Gong K."

In July, there were reports of Young K busking on the streets of the city while wearing a donkey mask. He created the "Gong K" channel with the hope that fans would start their mornings happily. Starting with the first episode, "Young K sleeping for 7 minutes," he has been presenting various content and receiving positive responses from viewers.

Young K began the "YOUNG ONE" project in January 2020, a cover project reinterpreting songs by various fellow musicians. He presented over 40 covers across three seasons before his military enlistment and is currently working on season 4 after his discharge. Young K expresses sincerity in his singing and values communication with his fans.

In the documentary for his 2021 solo debut album "Eternal," he shared his thoughts on music. He mentioned, "Music has become a part of my life," and said that standing on stage and making fans happy are his goals. Marking his 10th anniversary since debut, Young K said, "If you come to find me and wait for me, I think I can keep climbing."

DAY6 started their 10th-anniversary tour "The DECADE" on August 30 and 31 at Goyang Sports Complex in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. This marks the first time a domestic band has entered a stadium. After successfully concluding their Bangkok concert on September 27, DAY6 will continue the tour in Ho Chi Minh City on October 18, Hong Kong on January 17, 2026, Manila on the 24th, and Kuala Lumpur on the 31st.
