[The Fact | Reporter Choi Hyun-jung] Group i-dle is garnering attention with a series of analog-inspired teasers.
On the 28th, Cube Entertainment released teasers for the music video for the title track "Where Do We Go" (どうしよっかな / Where Do We Go) from their Japanese EP "i-dle" through the official social media accounts of the members (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua).
The teaser video highlights the analog sensibility of film cameras. Miyeon gazed at the audition notice on the wall as she walked down the street. Minnie smiled faintly at the excited students standing in front of the capsule vending machine with their photos. Soyeon also spent some free time at the used bookstore where she works part-time.
The members previously released a teaser set in a small Japanese fishing village, reminiscent of a Japanese youth film, and this time, they once again heightened anticipation for the full-length video with an analog feel.
I-dle's Japanese EP, "i-dle," is garnering significant attention as their first Japanese release since their rebranding and their first in five years. The album contains a total of five tracks, including the title track "What Should I Do?" featuring leader Soyeon, "Forever Goodbye to the World I Couldn't Love" (Aisena Kattasekai Eee Aen Ni Jaane), "Invincible" and the Japanese version of "Queencard," which were selected as the new opening theme songs for the popular Japanese anime "BEYBLADE X" Season 3, and the Japanese version of "I Hate Being Hurt," which was previously released.
Following the release of their Japanese EP "i-dle" on October 3rd, i-dle will be holding their first Japanese arena tour since their debut, "2025 i-dle first japan tour 逢い-dle (2025 i-dle First Japan Tour i-dle)."
