Dayoung of the group WJSN recorded her first music show win with her solo debut song "body." Her agency, Starship Entertainment, released a video titled "'body' 1st Win Behind - DAYOUNG" on Dayoung's official YouTube channel. The video captures the moment Dayoung lifts her first trophy after her solo debut with the new song "body" on SBS funE's "The Show" on September 23.

After the announcement of her first-place win, Dayoung shed tears of emotion and said, "I really wanted to be loved a lot, thank you so much for loving me." On the day of the event, WJSN members Exy, Bona, Yeonjung, and "The Show" MC Hyungjun of CRAVITY visited to support her and performed an encore live stage together.

Heading to the waiting room, Dayoung cried again upon seeing the staff and dancers and shared her joy by blowing out the candles on a congratulatory cake. She was also seen sharing the news of her first-place win during a phone call with the music video director. Additionally, she took commemorative photos with WJSN members and Hyungjun at the photo wall prepared in the waiting room. Dayoung said, "It's amazing that the members came. As soon as they came up on stage with me, I felt energized. I'm so thankful they came."

Dayoung and the members recalled Exy's brief rap performance of "body" during the encore stage, saying, "It reminded us of old times, it was so good." At the end of the video, Dayoung expressed, "I'm not just happy, I'm so happy. The team members worked so hard, and I wondered how I could repay them, but I'm glad I could repay them with this first-place win."

Regarding the album title "gonna love me, right?," Dayoung explained its double meaning as "You're going to love me" and "Please love me!" She sincerely said, "Both meanings seem to be coming true well, so I'm very happy. Please continue to love me."

Dayoung won "The Show" trophy with the title track "body" from her first solo digital single "gonna love me, right?" released on September 9. She also ranked as high as 24th on Melon's TOP100 and topped VIBE's domestic rising chart, while appearing on major music charts such as Genie, Bugs, and Flo. On YouTube, she continues to rise, appearing on the trending music video chart, weekly popular songs, and daily shorts popular songs charts.

Dayoung's solo debut was highlighted by various media outlets including the American economic magazine Forbes, the British music magazine NME, and the American broadcaster FOX 13 Seattle. Dayoung achieved a successful solo debut amid global acclaim.
