She explained the reason she started writing novels, saying, "I really like creating, and I used to enjoy reading novels when I was younger," and "I started thinking about the development of a story while watching some content."
About a turning point in her life, Jeon Ji-yoon said, "My life has changed a lot compared to when I was active in the group," and "The biggest difference is that I am creating something behind the scenes rather than being in the spotlight." One day, we were just suddenly notified of the disbandment and it was over."

Kwon So-hyun, who appeared together with her, recalled, "I still remember when I took my sister in my car to visit the chairman's house," and "We were turned away at the door."
4Minute was a five-member girl group consisting of Heo Ga-yoon, Jeon Ji-yoon, HyunA, Kwon So-hyun, and Nam Ji-hyun, debuting in 2009 with the release of "Hot Issue." They established themselves as a popular group of their time by releasing numerous hit songs such as "Music," "Mirror Mirror," and "What's Your Name?"
However, in 2016, 4Minute announced their disbandment after seven years of activity. At that time, only member HyunA renewed her contract with Cube Entertainment, while the other members decided to pursue their own paths. The news of the disbandment shocked fans greatly and sparked various speculations about the reasons behind it.
