Oricon's "Weekly Combined Album Ranking" ranks albums based on a combination of CD sales, digital downloads, and streaming counts. S.Coups X Mingyu recorded about 105,000 points, including over 103,000 CD sales. They also stood out on major Billboard Japan charts. "HYPE VIBES" ranked first on the "Top Album Sales" chart, and the title track "5, 4, 3 (Pretty woman) (feat. Lay Bankz)" reached fifth place on Billboard Japan's "Hot Shot Songs" chart.

S.Coups X Mingyu's new release recorded over 880,000 sales in its first week, breaking the record for the highest first-week sales of a K-pop unit album. The album also ranked first on Oricon's "Daily Album Ranking" and topped both the daily and weekly charts in the EP category of China's largest music site QQ Music's "Digital Bestseller Albums."

The title track "5, 4, 3 (Pretty woman) (feat. Lay Bankz)" ranked first on Bugs' real-time chart on the day of release, and all tracks entered Melon's "Top 100" chart. Foreign media described the song as "a track that expresses intense emotions in a straightforward and modern way," calling it "the birth of a retro pop masterpiece blending disco vibes with irresistible charm." They also noted that it "laid the foundation for a new transformation of S.Coups and Mingyu."
