Jungkook has achieved over 1.3 billion streams on Spotify for the second time. Previously, "Seven" set this record. "Standing Next to You" ranked number one on Spotify's major chart, the Daily Top Songs Global, and remained on the chart for more than 370 days.
The song debuted at number five on the US music media Billboard's main singles chart, the Hot 100, and stayed on the chart for 19 weeks. Additionally, it reached number one on both the Billboard Global 200 and Global (excluding US) charts, ranking for 47 weeks and 55 weeks respectively. It debuted at number six on the UK Official Chart Top 100 and remained on the chart for a total of 11 weeks.
"Standing Next to You" was selected as a winner in the "Most Performed Songs of the Year" category at the 2025 BMI Pop Awards, hosted by the American music copyright management organization. It also won the "Top Global K-Pop Song" category at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards.
The North American pop culture magazine THE HONEY POP ranked the "Standing Next to You - Usher Remix," a collaboration between Jungkook and R&B king Usher, as the number one K-pop collaboration of 2024 in their top five list.
