Kim Jung-hyun to play the tall gentleman in JTBC's 'A Hundred Memories'

In JTBC's weekend drama "A Hundred Memories," the two older brothers each express their feelings toward Go Young-rye and Seo Jong-hee in their own ways. Their emotional arcs form a major axis of the drama, drawing attention to how their relationships will unfold in the remaining four episodes.

Jung-hyun has been by Young-rye's side for seven years, serving as her reliable supporter. He playfully calls Young-rye "clumsy," but his words carry genuine affection. When Young-rye decided to attend night school and her mother opposed it due to financial reasons, Jung-hyun stood by her side, saying, "Don't worry. If the government provides subsidies, most things will be supported," and offered unwavering support. He also encouraged her during difficult times with advice like, "Happiness is not given by others but something you must seize yourself."

Regarding Young-rye's involvement in the Cheong-a Transportation strike, Jung-hyun secretly helped her by tipping off the media about the incident. After returning from studying abroad, his attitude toward Young-rye changed. He was the first to visit the rice restaurant run by Young-rye's mother and showed jealousy upon hearing that Young-rye dated another man. When Jae-pil took Young-rye to an event, Jung-hyun displayed competitiveness and even challenged him to a childish drinking contest. He began to openly express his feelings by visiting the hair salon with a bouquet of roses.

Young-sik, Go Young-rye's biological older brother, is known for his warm heart, which brings great comfort to those around him. He showed special consideration for Jong-hee. Seven years ago, when Jong-hee hid at Young-rye's house to escape threats from an abusive brother, Young-sik reassured her by offering warm milk. He advised her, "No matter what happened, running away and hiding blindly isn't the answer," giving her courage.

Young-sik also helped Jong-hee during difficult times. He gave her a bus ticket to Seoul, his coat, and all the money in his wallet to assist her. When they reunited seven years later, Jong-hee expressed her gratitude by calling Young-sik "the savior of my life." Young-sik harbors a desire to repay Jong-hee's kindness, and his feelings remain deep.

Jong-hee confessed to Young-sik, saying, "I always envied Young-rye for having a brother like you," sparking curiosity about their relationship. Viewers are increasingly interested in whether Young-sik's feelings for Jong-hee are special emotions or simply friendship.

"A Hundred Memories" airs every Saturday at 10:40 PM and Sunday at 10:30 PM, with viewers closely watching how the emotional lines of the two brothers will develop in the remaining episodes. The drama offers viewers deep immersion through the complex emotions and relationships of each character.
