BTS Jin has set another record as an Asian solo artist. On the 11th (local time), the American business magazine Pollstar announced the "Pollstar Global Concert Tour Top 20" rankings. Jin ranked 14th among all artists worldwide with an average box office revenue per city of $2,743,048, setting a new record as the highest-ranking Asian artist. Currently, Jin is the only Asian solo artist on this chart.
Pollstar's "Global Concert Tour Top 20" ranks artists based on average box office revenue per city. In this chart, Beyoncé took first place, and Coldplay ranked fourth.
Jin's first solo fan concert and first solo world tour, "Run Seokjin Tour" (#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR), took place from June 28 to August 10 (local time). The tour consisted of 18 performances across nine cities, starting in South Korea and including Chiba and Osaka in Japan, Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, and Newark in the United States, London in the United Kingdom, and Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
In July, Jin ranked ninth on the Billboard Top Tours monthly chart. On this chart, Jin set new records as the highest-grossing Asian solo artist with $32.5 million in revenue and the largest audience of 217,000. This achievement was notable as it was based solely on 12 performances in Japan and the United States, excluding his shows in South Korea and Europe.
In the August Billboard Top Tours monthly chart, Jin ranked 24th. He re-entered the chart with just four performances from August 5-6 in London, UK, and August 9-10 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. These shows generated $11.5 million in revenue and attracted 50,700 attendees, making Jin the highest-grossing Korean solo artist on a European tour and setting another Billboard Top Tours record.
According to Billboard Top Boxscores, Jin's two performances at Kyocera Dome Osaka during the "Run Seokjin Tour" (#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR) generated a total revenue of $9.6 million. This is the highest boxscore ever recorded for a K-pop solo artist at a single venue. It was a rare and major highlight that all eight levels of the Kyocera Dome, including restricted view seats, were opened and sold out. Even when BTS performed at Kyocera Dome, the eighth level was not opened.
Jin is the solo artist with the most number-one songs on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart, holding seven chart-toppers. His second solo mini-album, "Echo," set a 2025 K-pop solo album record as the first and only album to enter the Billboard World Albums chart for over 19 weeks, proving its popularity. Jin was also recorded as the best-selling K-pop solo artist in the United States in 2025 based on pure album sales.
The UK's Rolling Stone gave Jin's world tour a perfect five-star rating and described it as unparalleled. Encouraged by fans' requests and support, Jin will hold the "Run Seokjin Tour Encore" (#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR_ENCORE) concerts at the Incheon Munhak Stadium Main Stadium from October 31 to November 1.
In August, Jin won the "2025 International Male Artist of the Year" award at the SEC Awards hosted by Brazil's media outlet SEC (Series Em Cena). Additionally, at the 2025 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS (TMA) held in Macau in September, he won first place in the Fan N Star Choice Solo category and the Fan N Star "TMA Best Music - Summer" category, achieving a double crown at TMA. This further solidified Jin's status as the top solo artist and a global icon.
