IVE Liz dominates Chuseok stage with clear and pure vocal tone

IVE's Liz recently captivated viewers with her clear and pure voice on MBC's "How Do You Play?" Liz played an active role on the Blue Team during the Chuseok Grand Festival alongside the finalists of the '80s MBC Seoul Music Festival.' On the show, Liz drew attention by mentioning Lee Ji-yeon's performance of "Wind, Please Stop" from the music festival. The cast praised Liz's performance, saying, "She was like an angel on stage that day," and "It was one of the best performances." Liz expressed her gratitude, saying, "I felt relieved after finishing the stage well. Even if I don't win an award, I feel good." She also shared that her mother came to support her on the day of the performance and talked about the scarf and confetti her mother gave her.

During the Chuseok Grand Festival, a Blue vs. White singing competition took place, and Liz participated in the third round as a member of the Blue Team. She passionately sang Cho Deok-bae's "My Old Story." Dressed in hanbok, Liz enhanced the song's lyrical atmosphere with her clear voice. The cast responded, "It feels like first love," and "It's different when Liz sings it." Yoo Jae-suk, who served as a judge, praised, "It was unique because Liz sang 'My Old Story.'" Liz's performance led the Blue Team to victory.

Liz also caught viewers' attention with her variety show charm. Just before the third round, when she had to choose one of the prizes labeled 'Chu,' 'Seok,' or 'Dae,' Liz confidently said, "I will choose 'Chu.'" This comment caused the set to burst into laughter. Liz showed rich reactions by swaying and applauding during other cast members' performances. She contributed to raising the excitement of the Chuseok Grand Festival.

Through her special appearance on the '80s MBC Seoul Music Festival,' Liz showcased her charm that crosses both variety and music. In the preliminaries, under the nickname 'New York Bakery,' she passed by singing Nami's "Bingle Bingle" and Lee Moon-sae's "Girl." In the finals, she chose Lee Ji-yeon's "Wind, Please Stop," recreating the charm of an '80s high-teen star. Through this Chuseok Grand Festival, Liz once again left a mark on viewers with her trusted vocal tone and variety skills.

Liz shared her thoughts through her agency Starship Entertainment, saying, "I was happy to be part of the '80s MBC Seoul Music Festival' and the Chuseok Grand Festival. It was an honor to share the stage with respected seniors. I was filled with excitement while preparing for every stage. It was an unforgettable time." She added, "I thank the viewers who sent so much love and interest, the cast, and the staff who were with me. I will do my best to greet you with even better appearances in the future."

Meanwhile, IVE, the group Liz belongs to, will hold their second world tour, "SHOW WHAT I AM," in Seoul at KSPO DOME from October 31 to November 2. IVE's upcoming concert is highly anticipated by fans.
