Tours sells 500,000 copies on the first day... 'Overdrive' music chart ranking soars


Group TWS proved their steep rise by selling 500,000 copies just one day after the release of their new album. The mini 4th album "play hard," released on the 13th, sold 517,941 copies on the first day, ranking at the top of the daily chart on the album sales tracking site Hanteo Chart. This marked the highest first-day sales since TWS's debut, and all five albums they have released so far have surpassed 500,000 cumulative sales.

The response to the digital tracks is also hot. The title track "OVERDRIVE" ranked 2nd on Bugs' real-time chart immediately after its release, and on Melon's "Hot 100" chart, all the songs including "Head Shoulders Knees Toes," "HOT BLUE SHOES," "Caffeine Rush," "overthinking," and "I Will Be Tomorrow" ranked high, proving the team's growth.

On Japan's Line Music real-time "Song Top 100" chart, it ranked 10th as of 2 a.m. on the 14th, quickly showing their presence locally. The music video for "OVERDRIVE" captivated viewers with a refreshing beat combined with the six members' lovely energy. The song depicts the intense emotions and passion of youth in love, telling the story of boys who are confused by unfamiliar feelings yet immersed in joy.

The members drew a passionate response from fans with facial expressions that highlighted their individual charms and signature shoulder-shaking choreography. TWS will officially begin their music show activities starting with Mnet's "M Countdown" on the 16th. They will also appear on major radio programs such as KBS Cool FM's "Haha's Super Radio" on the 14th, "Lee Eun-ji's Gayo Plaza" on the 15th, SBS Power FM's "Wendy's Young Street" on the 17th, and "Park So-hyun's Love Game" on the 19th to showcase their live skills and stage charisma.
