Singer Park Min-su made his first appearance on KBS 2TV's 'Immortal Songs' Namjin Special, achieving three consecutive wins and showcasing a strong presence.
The episode of 'Immortal Songs' aired on the 18th was dedicated to Namjin's 60th debut anniversary. Amid the competitive atmosphere divided between traditional trot singers and other genre singers, Park Min-su appeared nervous as he shared his thoughts. He said, "It's my first appearance, and I'm even more nervous because it's a Namjin special. The teams are divided, so the pressure is high. But everyone next to me is also a rival," lightening the mood with his witty remarks.
From the beginning of the broadcast, competition intensified with the formation of the traditional trot group, other genre group, and even the 'Park Min-su group.' Senior singer Shin Yu pointed out Park Min-su's impatience, jokingly responding to the question, "Has anyone won on their first stage?" with "There are some, but I don't think you are one," eliciting laughter.
Park Min-su performed Namjin's "Even If I Hate You, Once Again" for his first stage. He expressed, "I'm nervous and honored since it's my first appearance. I've prepared with the mindset that I can perform this stage the best," adding, "I believe that if I trust myself and do my best, good results will follow." On stage, Park Min-su conveyed deep emotions with a delicate yet rich vocal style, receiving enthusiastic responses from the audience.
After the performance, Shin Yu praised him, saying, "I don't think I've seen a junior perform this well on their first appearance. He was bold and did well, and I think he will be even more promising as time goes by." Namjin commented, "What I sang was a pop song, but what Min-su sang felt like a musical. It was very impressive." Park Min-su scored 394 points, winning against Jo Jung-min.
After watching Park Min-su's performance, Lee Chan-won said, "With today's score, winning is definitely possible." Before his match against Shin Yu, Park Min-su confidently stated, "If I lose to senior Shin Yu, I have no regrets. But if the senior loses, he has to join the 'Park Min-su group'." He defeated Shin Yu and heated up the stage once again, surpassing 20th Century Boys to achieve three consecutive wins. Park Min-su shared his feelings, saying, "I can't believe I've won three times."
Later, Park Min-su competed against Hwang Min-ho and Lee Soo-yeon but gave up the championship, concluding his stage. With his brilliant performance in his first appearance, he solidified his position as a rising star in trot.
Park Min-su is an ambassador for the Chungcheongnam-do Hometown Love Donation Program and the first promotional ambassador for Seocheon County. Recently, as an ambassador for the '2025-2026 Chungnam Visit Year,' he appeared on the 'Wow! CN Festa' stage, premiering his unreleased song "Seohaeya," and continues to communicate with fans through various broadcasts and performances.
