Super Junior successfully completed performances in four South American regions through their 20th anniversary world tour, 'SUPER SHOW 10.' This tour began in Seoul in August, followed by Hong Kong, Jakarta, and Manila, and started in Mexico City on October 12. Performances then took place on the 14th in Monterrey, the 16th in Lima, and the 18th in Santiago.
Super Junior previously set the record for the largest South American tour by a Korean artist through 'SUPER SHOW 5' in 2013. This South American tour was held about 2 years and 8 months after 'SUPER SHOW 9' in 2023, and it received great attention as soon as the news was announced.
A "South America-tailored" setlist was prepared for this performance. Super Junior presented 'Lo Siento,' the first Korean artist song to enter the Billboard Latin chart, the reggaeton rhythm-attractive 'One More Time,' a remake of Luis Miguel's 'Ahora Te Puedes Marchar,' and a cover stage of Michel Telo's 'Ai Se Eu Te Pego.' This brought the atmosphere at the concert to its peak.
Additionally, Super Junior performed a total of 26 songs, including tracks from their 12th full album 'Super Junior25,' released last July, such as the title track 'Express Mode,' 'Haircut,' 'Say Less,' and 'D.N.A.,' as well as 'Sorry, Sorry,' 'Bonamana,' 'Don Don!,' 'U,' 'Black Suit,' 'Mr. Simple,' and 'Miracle.' They received enthusiastic responses from the audience.
At the end of the concert, Super Junior expressed their gratitude to the fans. "Thank you to ELFs who have sent us love from far away. We have always missed and wanted to see you. This South American tour after a long time has hopefully become an unforgettable moment for both us and you. Let's promise not to forget each other until the day we meet again. We hope you will continue to complete Super Junior with your love for the next 10, 20 years," they said.
This tour established itself as an important event commemorating Super Junior's 20-year journey. It strengthened communication with fans and served as an opportunity to further solidify their position as a global artist. Super Junior plans to continue maintaining their relationship with fans through various activities in the future.
