He revealed his intention to return to his original mindset as a singer, stating, "I will put political talks aside and laugh and sing with the people on stage." Kim Heung-guk is currently preparing a new song. He plans to release a new music project by the end of this year that combines the lively energy of his representative song "Horangnabi" with a modern sensibility. He also announced plans to run a personal YouTube channel, saying, "Singing on stage and smiling in front of the camera is my life. Now, I want to laugh with the people online as well."
