[The Fact | Reporter Na-rae Lee] Group PLAVE has topped the weekly idol ranking site 'Fan N Star' Global Hot Star Ranking for 56 consecutive weeks.
PLAVE took first place with 1,686,927 votes in the 'Fan N Star' Global Hot Star Ranking for the third week of October, which ran from October 13th to 20th. Stray Kids came in second with 1,216,407 votes, and NEXZ came in third with 752,388 votes.
The Global Hot Star Ranking is a poll that selects K-pop artists who have captivated the world. Fourth- and fifth-generation idols with established global fandoms are nominated. The nominations are particularly noteworthy because they are linked to the "Global Hot Star Award" at the "The Fact Music Awards." The ongoing voting process, which includes pre-voting for next year's "Global Hot Star," will account for 20% of the final vote. The artist who ultimately wins first place will receive the Global Hot Star Trophy at the 2025 "The Fact Music Awards."
"Fan N Star" will advertise at Hongdae N Square in Mapo-gu, Seoul if the artist holds the top spot on the Global Hot Star rankings for 10 consecutive weeks. For 30 consecutive weeks, the announcement will be made on a wall wrap at Hongdae Station in Mapo-gu, Seoul. For 50 consecutive weeks, the announcement will be made on the chandelier at Lotte World in Jamsil, Songpa-gu, Seoul. For 70 consecutive weeks, the announcement will be made on billboards in Hong Kong and Paris, France. For 100 consecutive weeks, the announcement will be made on the Starfield Media Tower in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.
There are also special perks for all artists who reach a certain number of votes, regardless of rank. Reaching 100 million cumulative votes will be featured on a global billboard in the Philippines, 200 million on a Singapore billboard, 300 million on a French billboard, 500 million on a Hong Kong billboard, and 1 billion on a New York billboard.
Following the news of PLAVE's first place win, fans who participated in the vote sent congratulatory messages to the official Fan N Star text message box. One fan, nicknamed "Chocoltteok," wrote, "We only support PLAVE."
Fan N Star, a weekly idol ranking site operated by The Fact, offers idol voting and billboard support, serving as a playground for fandoms. Voting for the group, solo, and New Star rankings begins every Monday, and any fan of an idol can participate.
