
JTBC's drama "Waiting for Kyungdo" is set to premiere in the second half of the year. The drama is written by Yoo Young-ah and directed by Lim Hyun-wook, with production by SLL, IEN, and Geulmoe.
The main characters are Lee Kyung-do (played by Park Seo-joon) and Seo Ji-woo (played by Won Ji-an), who each experienced two relationships and breakups at the ages of twenty and twenty-eight, respectively. They reunite as a reporter who covered an affair scandal and the wife of the scandal's subject. Through this, a poignant and deep romance unfolds.
The released trailer shows Park Seo-joon and Won Ji-an on set. It includes scenes of them riding a carousel together and waltzing in the middle of the street. These scenes vividly depict the relationship between the two characters.
Additionally, the drama features Lee El (as Seo Ji-yeon) and members of the disorganized theater club: Lee Joo-young (as Park Se-young), Kang Ki-doong (as Cha Woo-sik), and Jo Min-guk (as Lee Jung-min). Their distinctive characters are expected to add to the drama's appeal.
In the trailer, alongside the sound of the slate marking the start of filming, a message was delivered: "Everyone, the long-awaited 'Kyungdo' is coming soon."
