Super Junior's Yesung shared his sorrow over the loss of his pet dog, Melo. On the 22nd, Yesung announced the news through his social media account. He expressed deep condolences while reminiscing about his memories with Melo.

Yesung wrote, "On a quiet afternoon, when sunlight seeps through the door gap, it still feels like you are wagging your tail in it." He described Melo as "our Melo, the kindest and most beautiful in the world," showing his longing. He added, "This house without you is still filled with your warmth," emphasizing how significant Melo's presence was.

He recalled, "I was far away and didn't even know you were sick. Yet, you always smiled brightly as usual," sharing that Melo expressed gratitude to him until the very last moment. Yesung described the feelings he had during their last walk, saying, "Only gratitude remained in your eyes."

Yesung explained their relationship by saying, "I thought I was giving you love, but looking back, I always received more." He mentioned that Melo's short life had a great impact on his own life, saying, "Your warmth still stays right in the middle of my day." Yesung conveyed that he feels love does not disappear but only changes form and remains.

He wrote, "Melo, the love you left in me is still full inside. Thank you, thank you again for coming into my world." Yesung promised to meet Melo again someday, saying, "When we meet again, this time I'll be the first to run and hug you."
