[The Fact | Reporter Choi Hyun-jung] Group CORTIS has re-entered Billboard's main chart, drawing attention.
Big Hit Music announced on the 22nd that CORTIS's (Martin James, Joo Hoon, Sung Hyun, Gun Ho) debut album, "COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES," re-entered Billboard's main album chart, the Billboard 200, at number 171, released on the 21st.
CORTIS previously entered the Billboard 200 at number 15 on September 27th with this album and remained there for two weeks. Ranking 15th is the highest debut album performance for a K-pop group, excluding project groups.
"COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES" also climbed back up the Billboard charts, ranking 11th on both the "Top Album Sales" and "Top Current Album Sales" charts. It also reached 3rd place on the "World Albums" chart.
CORTIS's comeback on the Billboard charts is attributed to their active US presence. The five members of CORTIS met with local fans at "iHeartRadio LIVE with CORTIS" in Los Angeles and "KOOM Festival" in New York. They are also expanding their presence through invitations to prominent radio stations and events.
Meanwhile, CORTIS continues to enjoy consistent popularity in Korea, with their intro track "GO!" ranking 88th on the Melon weekly chart.
