[The Fact | Reporter Jeong Byeong-geun] Boy group TXT has topped the Oricon chart with the title track of their 3rd Japanese album.
According to their agency Big Hit Music on the 22nd, TXT (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Huening Kai)'s title track "Can't Stop" from their 3rd Japanese album "Starkissed" topped Oricon's "Daily Digital Single Ranking" on the day of its release (the 20th).
The song's music video is also garnering significant attention. Following its debut at the top of Japan's major music streaming site Line Music's "Music Video Top 100" (dated October 20th), the song surpassed 10 million YouTube views around 7 p.m. on the 21st.
"Can't Stop" is a song about opening your eyes and saving our world with explosive power the moment you call their name. The electro-funk genre features powerful synth sounds and captivating rhythms, complemented by the energetic yet delicate vocals of TXT.
The music video features sports. Soobin and Beomgyu play tennis dynamically, while Yeonjun shows off his unique dance moves at a bowling alley. Taehyun sweats and boxes, while drummer Huening Kai shows off his passionate moves. The energy builds towards the end, creating a truly exhilarating experience for viewers.
TXT will hold a showcase on the 22nd to commemorate the official release of "Starkissed" and meet with local fans. They will then appear on EX's 'Music Station' on the 24th and NHK's 'Venue101' on the 25th. After that, they will begin their Japanese dome concerts as part of their fourth world tour starting in November.
