
Hong Joo-chan of the group Golden Child has announced his comeback with his first single, "Rise & Shine." On the 23rd at 6 PM, his agency Woollim Entertainment released the final concept photo of Hong Joo-chan through their official SNS. The released photo was taken on a large bridge under the dark night sky, where Hong Joo-chan showcased a casual styling that evokes an autumn atmosphere.
In the photo, Hong Joo-chan leans against the railing, gazing straight ahead with deepened eyes that captivate fans' attention. Another shot shows him sitting on the railing, looking down at his phone, with the dazzling city nightscape behind him harmonizing with his visuals to add an emotional touch.
With all the concept photos for Hong Joo-chan's first single revealed, the three versions emphasized his enhanced visuals and matured atmosphere. This heightened anticipation for the music and stage he will present through "Rise & Shine."
"Rise & Shine" is Hong Joo-chan's first new release in about 1 year and 8 months. The title track features a band sound based on the pop-rock genre, characterized by a popular melody and a narrative filled with emotions that resonate with listeners.
This single includes a total of four tracks: the title track "Rise & Shine," remakes of "Problem Child," released in 2019, and "How About It," released last year, as well as an instrumental version of the title track. The songs are composed to showcase Hong Joo-chan's unique vocal color and sensibility.
Hong Joo-chan's first single, "Rise & Shine," will be released on the 26th at 6 PM.
