The boy group NEXZ, under JYP Entertainment, held their first solo concert in South Korea over two days, from October 25 to 26, at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul. The concert, titled "NEXZ SPECIAL CONCERT ''", emphasized the connection with their fandom NEX2Y and marked the beginning of NEXZ's new journey.

NEXZ opened the concert powerfully with the hip-hop track "Simmer" and the mini-album 1 track "HARD." They then performed the Korean version of the title track "One Bite" from their second Japanese EP and the mini-album 1 title track "NALLINA," raising the audience's excitement. The members said, "We have been counting down to this day. It was our first concert in Korea, so we were very nervous, but seeing NEX2Y filling the seats gives us strength."

During the performance, NEXZ delivered a variety of songs, from their debut track "Ride the Vibe" to "Starlight" and "Miracle (Korean Ver.)," conveying fresh energy. They also performed live tracks such as "Because of you," "Make it Better," and "Whatever Whenever," delighting the audience's eyes and ears.

The highlight of the concert was the stage for the new songs from their third mini-album "Beat-Boxer," released that day. NEXZ performed the full version of the title track "Beat-Boxer," eliciting enthusiastic cheers. The signature choreography, which included foot movements matching the lyrics "Hot Sneakers," combined acrobatic elements and powerful motions, receiving great response from the audience.

NEXZ showcased outstanding choreography and teamwork, living up to their nickname as the "next-generation performance masters." They exuded charisma with "BURNING BLACK" and "Want More? One More!" and drew cheers from fans through various performances presented in their group project "NEXZ Archive."

They also presented a stage reinterpreting the original choreography of JYP senior artists Stray Kids' "Walkin On Water (HIP Ver.)." On the first day of the concert, they performed Kyle's "Hey Julie! (feat. Lil Yachty)," and on the second day, Kendrick Lamar's "peekaboo (feat. AZ Chike)," showcasing diverse charms.

NEXZ continued their energetic stage with the mini-album 2 title track "O-RLY?," which ranked first on domestic real-time music charts and was nominated for first place on music shows, and "Next Zeneration," written by the members themselves. VCR videos during the concert enhanced immersion, and a performance video featuring mascots of animal characters symbolizing the members, called NEXZOO, was also revealed.

For the encore, they communicated with fans by singing "Keep on Moving (Korean Ver.)" and "Here & Now." NEX2Y completed the touching moment by holding slogans filled with messages of love and support for NEXZ.

After the concert, NEXZ expressed, "Performing on the stage at Olympic Hall was one of our big dreams, and we are happy to have achieved it. We could have such a happy time today thanks to all of NEX2Y." They concluded the concert by conveying their gratitude through interaction with the audience.

Since their global debut in May 2024, NEXZ has recently held a total of 18 performances across 15 cities in Japan, attracting over 50,000 spectators. They entered the prestigious Tokyo Budokan for their Japan concerts and achieved success at various popular music awards, including winning the "Best 5 New Artists" category at the 39th Japan Gold Disc Awards.

NEXZ will make their comeback on October 27 with the release of their third mini-album "Beat-Boxer" and its title track of the same name. Their future activities in the music industry are expected to attract continued attention.
