Dayoung of the group WJSN has joined the '2025 Korea Grand Music Awards' (KGMA), hosted by Ilgan Sports, the nation's top entertainment and sports newspaper. According to the KGMA organizing committee on the 27th, Dayoung has been added to the lineup for the '2025 Korea Grand Music Awards with iM Bank' (2025 KGMA), which will be held on November 14 and 15 at the Inspire Arena in Incheon. This will be her first awards ceremony since her solo debut.

Dayoung is scheduled to attend the '2025 KGMA' Music Day on the 15th, where she will perform her solo debut song "Body" along with other stages. She plans to fill the stage with performances that showcase the musical skills and passion she has built over the past nine years. Dayoung announced her solo debut by releasing her first digital single album "Gonna Love Me, Right?" on September 9, nearly nine years after her debut.

The title track "Body" attracted public attention with its addictive melody and refreshing vocals. The song ranked 9th on Melon Top 100 and 3rd on the Hot 100. Additionally, it reached 13th on the weekly chart as of the fourth week of October and ranked 1st on Bugs' real-time chart and 3rd on the daily chart. The "Body" challenge gained great popularity among domestic and international listeners through Dayoung's cheerful and healthy energy.

Dayoung's activities have been highlighted by major foreign media such as Forbes, the American business magazine, the British music magazine NME, and Fox 13 Seattle in the United States. Various MTV channels in different countries have also paid attention to her activities, expanding her global influence.

Now in its second year, KGMA aims to provide fans worldwide with a spectacular and diverse experience through stages that combine musical evolution and the latest technology. The event is divided into two days: "Artist Day" on November 14 and "Music Day" on November 15. On the first day, a total of 32 teams will participate, including The Boyz, Miyaw, Park Seo-jin, Boy Next Door, Psycus, INI, ATEEZ, Xdinary Heroes, All Day Project, WOODS, Lee Chan-won, CRAVITY, Kiki, and Fifty Fifty.

On the second day, various artists such as Nexzi, Lucy, BTOB, Suho (EXO), Stray Kids, IDIT, IVE, Ahob, Eunice, Jang Min-ho, Close Your Eyes, Kiss of Life, Kickflip, fromis_9, P1Harmony, and Hearts to Hearts will take the stage. Dayoung is expected to create unforgettable memories of the K-pop festival at this event.

Actor Nam Ji-hyun will serve as MC for both days, continuing from last year. On the first day, she will be joined by Irene (Red Velvet), and on the second day, by Nathy (Kiss of Life). KGMA is hosted by Ilgan Sports (Edaily M), co-organized by the KGMA organizing committee, Creatoring, and D.O.D, and supported by Incheon Metropolitan City and the Incheon Tourism Organization.

iM Bank participates as the title sponsor, and KT ENA continues as the main broadcasting partner from last year. Music and album data are provided by Hanteo Chart, Genie Music, Flo, and Bugs.
