Yang Dong-geun won first place on KBS 2TV's "Immortal Songs." The October 25th episode of "Immortal Songs" was the second part of the "Artist Nam Jin" special, featuring six teams: 82MAJOR, Kim Ki-tae, Na Tae-joo, Jeon Yoo-jin, Yang Dong-geun, and Dickpunks.

The first stage was performed by 82MAJOR. They presented "With You" with a modern sensibility. Combining flashy rapping and powerful performance, they maintained the original song's cheerfulness while adding fresh youthful energy to the stage. Nam Jin commented, "They sang so wonderfully. Their future looks promising. I hope they become global stars."

On the second stage, Kim Ki-tae sang "Empty Glass." Starting with piano accompaniment, this performance highlighted Kim Ki-tae's vocals and captivated the audience. With long breaths and tempo control, he drew applause, expanding the song's spectrum with a classical arrangement. Nam Jin said, "It feels like a completely different song. His soulful tone made my heart race; I was amazed." Kim Ki-tae scored 379 points, defeating 82MAJOR.

The third stage featured Na Tae-joo performing "Nest." Na Tae-joo appeared barefoot, delivering a flawless live performance with dazzling moves. The combination of tumbling and kicks in "Nest" inherited Nam Jin's excitement and style while exploding with Na Tae-joo's unique "Taekwondo energy." Nam Jin praised, "He didn't miss a single pitch or beat even while flying through the air. I was really impressed today." Na Tae-joo earned 383 votes, surpassing Kim Ki-tae and moving to the winner's seat.

Jeon Yoo-jin chose "Where Is Love" for the fourth stage. Transforming into a rocker with smoky makeup, Jeon Yoo-jin exuded intense charisma and dominated the stage. Presented with a band sound, "Where Is Love" showed a new side, breaking away from her usual clear trot image. Nam Jin admired Jeon Yoo-jin's challenge, saying, "It's a different style from her previous stages, but she handled it very well." Na Tae-joo defeated Jeon Yoo-jin to achieve a second consecutive win.

Yang Dong-geun performed "My Dear, Don't Change" with the members of Passe. Yang Dong-geun combined a dance break and DJing to create a cheerful stage. His witty performance and rhythmic direction added fresh charm. Nam Jin applauded, "I was really surprised watching today. It was cool. The best." Yang Dong-geun scored 384 points, surpassing Na Tae-joo and winning.

Dickpunks closed the competition with a band reinterpretation of "If I Had a Lover." From the start, they dominated the stage with a rocking sound. Vocalist Kim Tae-hyun's energetic lead and the band's solid ensemble created a uniquely interpreted performance. Nam Jin praised, "I'm getting tempted too. I want to do band music again. Let's do it together next time."

Celebrating his 60th anniversary, Nam Jin concluded the competition by saying, "Thank you for singing my songs in a new and stylish way that fits the times. It's an honor to be here today." The final winner was Yang Dong-geun, whose distinctive song interpretation and stage direction captured the hearts of the Immortal Songs judging panel.

The finale of this episode was marked by a grand collaboration uniting generations and genres. The "Trot faction," led by Shin Yu, and the "Other genres faction," led by Yang Dong-geun, gathered to sing "With You," creating a special synergy. MC Lee Chan-won also joined in, adding to the significance. Nam Jin and the cast commemorated the 60th anniversary together, sharing a meaningful moment.
