NexG announced a new beginning with their first solo concert

JYP Entertainment's boy group NEXZ successfully completed their first solo concert in Korea. NEXZ held the 'NEXZ SPECIAL CONCERT ()' at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul, from October 25 to 26. This concert symbolized the connection between NEXZ and their fandom NEX2Y and was regarded as an important event marking the beginning of NEXZ's new journey.

NEXZ kicked off the concert with a powerful start by performing the hip-hop track "Simmer" and "HARD" from their first mini-album. They then elevated the atmosphere with the Korean version of "One Bite," the title track from their second Japanese EP, and a performance of "NALLINA," the title track from their first mini-album. The members expressed their excitement about the first solo concert, saying, "We have been counting down to this day. We were very nervous since it's our first concert in Korea, but seeing NEX2Y filling the seats gives us strength."

The concert featured a variety of songs, from their debut track "Ride the Vibe" to "Starlight" and "Miracle (Korean Ver.)," captivating the audience with solid live performances of diverse tracks such as "Because of You," "Make it Better," and "Whatever Whenever."

The highlight of the concert was the stage for new songs from the third mini-album "Beat-Boxer," which will be released on the 27th. NEXZ delivered an intense energy through the performance of the title track "Beat-Boxer," eliciting enthusiastic reactions from the audience. They dominated the stage with choreography that matched the lyrics "Hot Sneakers," featuring extended footwork and acrobatic elements.

During the "I'm Him" stage, they expressed confidence with the line "I am the one, not anyone else," radiating dynamic energy. NEXZ showcased charisma with "BURNING BLACK" and "Want More? One More!" and received cheers from fans through various performances presented in the group project "NEXZ Archive."

NEXZ added a unique charm to the concert by reinterpreting "Walkin On Water (HIP Ver.)" by Stray Kids, senior artists under JYP. On the first day, they showcased a broad spectrum with Kyle's "Hey Julie! (feat. Lil Yachty)," and on the second day, Kendrick Lamar's "peekaboo (feat. AZ Chike)."

During the concert, NEXZ energized the audience with the title track "O-RLY?" from their second mini-album, which ranked first on domestic real-time music charts and was nominated for first place on music shows, as well as "Next Zeneration," written by the members themselves.

The VCR videos played a significant role in enhancing the concert's immersion. Sensory videos showing the members expressing music and beats in their own ways, along with a performance video featuring the NEXZOO mascot costume, drew strong reactions from the audience.

For the encore, NEXZ continued their connection with fans by performing "Keep on Moving (Korean Ver.)" and "Here & Now." They left a warm impression with songs like "Eye to Eye," "Slo-mo," and "Run With Me," while NEX2Y held up slogans expressing their love and support for NEXZ.

After the concert, the members of NEXZ shared their thoughts, saying, "Performing on the stage at Olympic Hall was one of our big dreams, and we are happy to have achieved it. We were able to have such a happy time today thanks to all of NEX2Y." They expressed their gratitude while continuing to connect with the audience until the very end.

Since their global debut in May 2024, NEXZ has shown remarkable growth. They recently held a total of 18 concerts in 15 cities across Japan, attracting over 50,000 attendees. They also achieved success at various popular music award ceremonies, including winning the "Best 5 New Artists" category at the 39th Japan Gold Disc Awards.

They will make a comeback after six months by releasing their third mini-album "Beat-Boxer" and its title track of the same name on the 27th. NEXZ is preparing to deliver an electrifying impact that will shake up the music industry.
