
&TEAM's Korean debut album is achieving overwhelming success. According to Hanteo Chart on the 29th, &TEAM's first mini-album "Back to Life" sold 1,139,988 copies on the 28th, topping the daily album chart. This marks their second consecutive million-seller following their previous Japanese third single "Go in Blind."
&TEAM has set meaningful milestones in both Korea and Japan, signaling the start of a new leap forward. The upward trend continues in the digital music sector as well. All six tracks from the first mini-album entered Melon's "Hot 100." In particular, the music video for the title track "Back to Life," which shares the album's name, surpassed 10 million views on YouTube within a day of its release. This is the fastest view count increase among all music videos &TEAM has released so far.
The title track "Back to Life" is a rock hip-hop genre song that captivated music fans with its rough and intense sound and performance. The song overall contains the strong will and positive energy of the nine members, and its choreography dramatically expresses the emotions and narratives encountered through various challenges.
On the day of the album release, &TEAM showcased outstanding stage presence at a fan showcase held at Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Yongsan, Seoul. The nine members heated up the venue with about 70 minutes of performances of new songs including "Back to Life," "Lunatic," "MISMATCH," and "Heartbreak Time Machine." The stage was broadcast live worldwide, with fans from 158 countries and regions watching via the global superfan platform Weverse Live.
An offline campaign celebrating &TEAM's Korean debut is also attracting attention. The exterior wall of HYBE's building was wrapped with claw marks reminiscent of the team's symbol possessing "Wolf DNA" and the phrase "&TEAM KR DEBUT." Various locations throughout Seoul, including Namsan Seoul Tower, Gimpo Airport, The Hyundai Seoul Digital Gallery, and major subway electronic billboards, were also adorned with &TEAM's faces and messages.
