
Hive's localization group &TEAM sold over 1.13 million albums on their Korean debut day. On the 29th, HYBE LABELS announced that &TEAM's first mini-album "Back to Life" sold 1,139,988 copies in just one day on the 28th. This marks their second million-seller following their previous Japanese third single "Go in Blind."
All six tracks from "Back to Life" entered Melon's "Hot 100" chart. In particular, the music video for the title track "Back to Life," which shares the album's name, surpassed 10 million views on YouTube within a day, receiving positive reactions. The title track is a rock hip-hop genre characterized by intense sound and performance. It conveys the nine members' strong will and positive energy, with choreography that dramatically expresses the emotions and narratives encountered through various challenges serving as a key highlight.
On the album release day, the 28th, &TEAM held a fan showcase at Blue Square Solt Travel Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. They performed for about 70 minutes, including new songs such as "Back to Life," "Lunatic," "MISMATCH," and "Heartbreak Time Machine." This stage, broadcast live worldwide, was watched by fans from 158 countries and regions through the global superfan platform Weverse Live.
An offline campaign is also underway to celebrate &TEAM's Korean debut. The exterior wall of HYBE's building in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, was wrapped with claw marks reminiscent of the team's symbol bearing "Wolf DNA" and the phrase "&TEAM KR DEBUT." Additionally, &TEAM's faces and messages can be seen throughout Seoul, including at Namsan Seoul Tower, Gimpo Airport, The Hyundai Seoul Digital Gallery, and major subway electronic billboards.
With their debut, &TEAM has secured a global fanbase and solidified their position in the Korean market. They plan to strengthen communication with fans through various activities moving forward.
