
HYBE Global Group's &TEAM's Korean debut album, "Back to Life," sold over one million copies on its first day, becoming a million-seller. According to Hanteo Chart on the 29th, &TEAM's first mini-album sold 1,139,988 copies on the 28th, ranking first on the daily album chart. This marks their second consecutive million-seller following their third Japanese single, "Go in Blind." &TEAM has set significant milestones in both Korea and Japan, signaling a new leap forward.
The rising trend is also evident in the music streaming sector. Six tracks from &TEAM's Korean first mini-album entered Melon's "Hot 100" chart. The music video for the title track "Back to Life" surpassed 10 million views on YouTube within a day of its release. This is the fastest view count increase among &TEAM's music videos. The song belongs to the Rock Hip-hop genre, characterized by rough and intense sounds and performances. The strong will and positive energy of the nine members permeate the entire song, and the choreography impressively dramatizes the emotions and narrative amid various challenges.
On the day of the album release, &TEAM held a fan showcase at Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Yongsan, Seoul. The nine members heated up the venue by performing new songs such as "Back to Life," "Lunatic," "MISMATCH," and "Heartbreak Time Machine" for about 70 minutes. The stage was broadcast live worldwide, with fans from 158 countries and regions watching via the global superfan platform Weverse Live.
An offline campaign celebrating &TEAM's Korean debut was also conducted. The exterior wall of the HYBE building was wrapped with claw marks reminiscent of the team's symbol, "Wolf DNA," and the phrase "&TEAM KR DEBUT." Advertisements featuring &TEAM's faces and messages were displayed at various locations in Seoul, including Namsan Seoul Tower, Gimpo Airport, The Hyundai Seoul Digital Gallery, and major subway electronic billboards.
&TEAM plans to appear on music shows and various entertainment content in the future. Based on their successful debut in the Korean market, they intend to expand their global activities. &TEAM's music and performances have received great responses from K-pop fans, and attention is focused on their future endeavors.
