Jungmin Kim, fourth daughter Somang... Male hormones still in their 20s

Jung-min Kim and his wife Rumiko expressed their desire to have a fourth child. On the October 30th episode of tvN STORY's variety show "Each Couple," Jung-min Kim shared that his wife Rumiko wants a daughter. He said, "Last time, my wife's sisters said, 'Rumiko wants to have a fourth child.' I thought it was a joke."

Although Jung-min Kim took his wife's wish as a joke, he revealed his desire to have a late-born child, saying, "Sometimes when I see passing babies, they look cute." However, he expressed regret, saying, "When the kids are at home, they don't give me any chance. The timing never works out."

During the broadcast, Jung-min Kim also talked about menopausal symptoms. In a consultation with urologist Seong-woo Hong, he opened up about his psychological changes, saying, "Lately, I suddenly cry." Seong-woo Hong explained, "These are typical menopausal symptoms found in textbooks," but Jung-min Kim confidently said, "I don't think I will experience menopause."

When asked about decreased libido and erectile dysfunction, symptoms of menopause, Jung-min Kim firmly said, "I don't think it applies to me." Test results showed his male hormone level was 7.7, which is comparable to that of men in their 20s and 30s. Seong-woo Hong positively evaluated Jung-min Kim's health, saying, "Among celebrities who have come to our hospital, he ranks second in hormone levels."

After returning home, Jung-min Kim called his wife Rumiko in Japan to boast about the test results. Rumiko said, "Babies are cute. If we have one, I would be very happy," and told him to think it over. Jung-min Kim responded to KCM's comment, "It seems like you have some feelings about it," by saying, "As I gain more confidence, I think I'll properly ask and have a conversation."

Jung-min Kim married Rumiko, who is 11 years younger and Japanese, on October 21, 2006, and they have three sons. Currently, Jung-min Kim lives in Korea, while Rumiko lives in Japan for the education of their two sons. Their second son, Do-yoon Kim, plays as a forward for the youth team of Sagan Tosu in the Japanese J-League and was recently called up to the Japan U-17 national team for the FIFA U-17 World Cup but had to withdraw due to injury.

Jung-min Kim described his communication style with Rumiko on the show, saying, "We are a couple who live apart." He expressed disappointment, saying, "Even when I make a video call because I miss my wife, she gives the phone to our youngest son." Rumiko shared her perspective, saying, "I don't want to show that side. I still want to be seen as a woman."

Jung-min Kim mentioned emotional changes, saying, "It seems like there are more changes after the family went to Japan." He proudly said, "I had a hormone test before marriage, and they told me not to worry because my levels were very high." However, Rumiko countered, "That was 21 years ago."

Jung-min Kim expressed confidence in his health, saying, "Numbers don't lie." The episode received a lot of attention from viewers through the story of Jung-min Kim and his wife's daily life and family.
