
Singer Roy Kim recently clarified various suspicions related to his solo career on the KBS 2TV variety show "The Seasons - 10CM's Ssudam Ssudam." The episode aired on October 31 featured Broccoli, You Too?, Jannabi, Roy Kim, and Jung Seung-hwan.
Broccoli, You Too? performed their representative song "No Encore Requests" on stage for the first time in six years. The members expressed surprise and joy upon hearing the invitation. Broccoli, You Too? recalled, "We didn't expect such a good response to 'No Encore Requests.' The first edition sold out in less than a month." The members revealed that this song led them to pursue a full-time musician career.
Jannabi's Choi Jung-hoon and Kim Do-hyung expressed their respect for 10CM. Choi Jung-hoon said, "I started listening to 10CM's music since my third year of high school. I know 10CM's busking repertoire well." He mentioned his memories of a past Bundang concert to Kwon Jung-yeol and expressed his gratitude.
Roy Kim attracted viewers' attention by singing "If We Break Up Then" while changing the last part of the lyrics. He explained, "Many people think it's a breakup song, but actually, it's about not breaking up." Roy Kim shared news of his challenge to go solo after 12 years, saying, "Things are progressing more smoothly than I had worried." He introduced his agency's name as "DEUL Company" and said he wanted to create an environment where artists can grow together.
During the program, Roy Kim was asked about his outfit. Kwon Jung-yeol mentioned the condition of his clothes, saying, "They look like non-woven fabric," and Roy Kim explained, "It's the album concept outfit." He also shared that people's reactions have changed as his variety show activities have become more active recently.
Roy Kim is also actively working as a lyricist and composer, having worked on songs such as Lee Chang-sub's "I Will Become a Flower," Lim Young-woong's "Melody for You," and Lee Chan-won's "Somehow Today."
