Group (G)I-DLE member Miyeon is releasing her second mini album, "MY, Lover." Miyeon will officially begin her solo activities on November 3rd. This album is her first new release in three years and six months since her first mini album, "MY," in 2022. The album contains a total of seven tracks, including the title track "Say My Name" and the pre-release song "Reno (Feat. Colde)."

Miyeon made a bold transformation in the pre-release track "Reno (Feat. Colde)." The song depicts the process of love turning into obsession and leading to a catastrophe. Unlike her previous songs, which centered on bright and beautiful melodies, this track starts with a narrated introduction and gradually intensifies, showcasing her growth as a solo artist. In the music video, she collaborated with Cha Woo-min to present dramatic noir film-like scenes. Miyeon conveyed a chilling atmosphere by hitting a car trunk with a hammer, holding up a severed hand with a blank expression, and embracing a coffin. Her acting, alternating between innocent smiles and expressionless faces, heightened the immersion.

The first teaser video for the "Say My Name" music video hinted at another side of Miyeon's emotions. She attracted attention with a stylish scene of dancing alone in a room, wearing a lonely and melancholic expression. The audio snippet revealed delicate piano melodies, rhythmic beats, and Miyeon's explosive vocal power, evoking the emotions of autumn.

Following the intense and experimental "Reno (Feat. Colde)," Miyeon expresses the temperature and emotions of love in extremes through the more emotional "Say My Name." Other tracks centered on the theme of "love" also showcase music that only Miyeon can deliver. Building on the musical world she established from her first mini album, Miyeon plans to create a narrative of love that transcends genre boundaries in this album.
