She added, "Until the very end, he was determined to return to broadcasting, and even lost sight in one eye during chemotherapy but endured with all his might, even walking barefoot to protect his wife."

As she bid farewell to her husband, Kim said, "I sincerely pray that he spends more brilliant times in heaven and is always smiling with that expression." She expressed regret that their promise to return to Paris, their honeymoon destination, on their 10th wedding anniversary could not be fulfilled. Lawyer Baek Sung-moon passed away at 2:08 a.m. on October 31 at Bundang Seoul National University Hospital at the age of 52. The deceased's funeral was held in Room 35 of the Seoul Asan Hospital funeral hall, with the funeral procession scheduled for 7 a.m. on November 2, and the burial site set at Honestone in Yongin.

Born in 1973, the late lawyer Baek Sung-moon graduated from Korea University Law School and passed the 49th Judicial Examination in 2007. Since 2010, he worked as a criminal defense lawyer handling various cases. He later became known to the public as a regular panelist on several current affairs programs such as MBN's News Fighter, JTBC's Incident Commander, YTN, and Yonhap News TV. Until recently, he communicated with viewers through YouTube political talk shows like Political Talk and Don't Worry Seoul.
