Ador's agency announced on the 30th that NewJeans "Cookie" has surpassed 300 million streams on Spotify.
As of the 28th, "Cookie" has been streamed 313,696 times on Spotify. This marks the eighth time a New Jeans song has surpassed 300 million streams.
Released as the triple title track for NewJeans' debut album "New Jeans" in August 2022, "Cookie" features a minimal hip-hop beat, a bouncy sound, and cute lyrics.
NewJeans has released a total of 15 songs that have surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify. Furthermore, the combined total streams of all songs released by NewJeans on Spotify exceed 6.8 billion.
Meanwhile, the 41st Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court (Presiding Judge Jeong Hoe-il) will hold a hearing on the lawsuit filed by Ador against the five members of NewJeans at 9:50 AM on the 30th to confirm the validity of their exclusive contracts.
The five members of NewJeans demanded the termination of their exclusive contracts with Ador in November of last year and began independent activities. Ador subsequently filed a lawsuit against them in December to confirm the validity of their exclusive contracts.
